word files disapear from server when modified on mac os X01 Feb 2006 01:23 GMT1
  Im in the I.t. department for a company that uses both macs and
P.c.'s which the users all save word files to a novell server, and when
we upgraded all the mac users to OSX recently, we started expeirencing
major issues with word files on the server, which were pretty much the

I think you've got it.
I did have a small initial section (TOC etc) then restarted at one (Using
Clive Huggan's great template).

I do support for a small law office (four Macs and a Mac server). Recently,
I did complete overhaul upgrades (backup data, erase hard drive, reinstall
system and apps from scratch, restore data) on three of the four clients,
setting them up with OS X 10.4.4 and Office 2004 (11.2.1.) ...

I just upgraded to 10.4.4, and have been working on a doccument for
which I have not had any problems in controlling header labels in
different sections. I have to label the header for each section
slightly different from the one above it, and have done this with no
