my apple wasnt able to read the pdf file sent from a window PC. pls
advice.

I recently bought a 19" monitor to hook up to my 12" PB. It seems that
Word X prefers a smaller screen. It won't let me resize a document to
fill the full vertical space, and when I open a doc, I get a blank area
at the bottom and have to shrink the size in order for the status bar

My friend has pc word, and her comments appear in nice little bubbles
off to the side of her document. My mac programme puts them on the
bottom and I can't see them as I continue to type. Is there some way I

For a colleague, I created a simple letterhead template with jpg logos

Hello all, sorry if this has been covered before but I could not find
it listed. I have recently installed MS Office 2004 onto my mac and
cannot figure out how to use diacritical marks with it. I am writing an
academic paper which requires the use of - and ' or ` over some letters

I've been searching through these forums for an answer to our problem. As

Office98 was nice in the 8.x days, but has not been the best in the OSX days

I am very pleased to announce the total redesign of the Word:mac site at
word.mvps.org!  No longer will Safari users have to "hit Reload once or
twice or better yet, use another browser."  The new site is altogether

I'm using Office 10.1.2 on OSX and I'm having the classic problem of
being unable to display imported images in word, instead of appearing
as they should a big red cross appears.
I've looked into this and the only fix I can find is too remove the

client, but am having problems having text to be positioned on both

I'm running word 2004 v11.2.  How do I insert cross references in
documents?  There is no "cross reference" item in the insert menu
which, according to standard help, is where it is supposed to be.
