For no particular reason when I open a new document in Word (version x) the new document's window is pushed all the way to the top of the screen, placing it under the toolbar (it does however, arrange itself correctly from left-to-right). I've tried arranging it how I want and

Word 2004 is frequently crashing on me when I cut or copy a block of text, like the size of a paragraph or more. Word doesn't seem to want to put much text on the clipboard. Anyone else run into this problem or know how to fix it?

I've created a newsletter from the project templates. Originally set up a 3 page newsletter that I need to expand into four pages. How do I add a page to the newsletter? In the same style template? I'm stumped on this one. Hope someone has some directions for this novice Word

I a word novice, but an advanced user of graphic software. I'm trying to make a template for use by other people and can't figure out how to lock a graphic in a specific position so it cannot be moved by another user.

I have a client where every day the users get a fresh "normal.dot" as part of the login process (via an applescript) from a central location. This ensure that they are all using the same corporate standards etc. Each user however is able to maintain their own "personal" Autotext

1.any way to have the formatting palette on the left side of the screen, and have documents open up in the center (not behind the palette)? (I understand that documents will move to the side of docked toolbars, but what about the formatting palette?)

Is there any way in Word 2004 to view the background against which text is typed as a light shade of grey instead of white? Note that this is just for viewing on my computer monitor while typing; I will print out the actual document as standard black on white text.
