I have a problem with Word, and after having searched the web and tried
several configurations, it seems this is linked to our use of open
directory. We have a G5 server running OS X Server 10.3.9. We use
LDAP and have our Home directories stored on the server. It works well,

I was working on a simple list of headings for some project and was almost
done when I must have hit a combination of keys that started to get Word
(MacOffice X) going wild by automatically inserting commas (,,,,,,,,,,,,,)
ad infinitum. I could delete portions of the perpetual ...

When in a Word Doc, I cannot select a portion of text and then press
delete to remove that portion of text. I used to be able to do this;
now it is broken.

In Word X for Mac when a files is saved it automatically saves as read
only.

Word and Excel 2004, addressing an issue in which the application could stop
responding for several seconds."

Just got my first OS X PowerBook and am deeply frustrated to find that
Word 5.1a can't print from Classic to my USB printer.
It shows the printer dialogue box and sends the text to the printer,
but the pages get fed through without text on them. Other OS 9 apps

Can anyone advise on how to correct this?? Can no longer "control + V"
OR insert using toolbar to "Paste" any content into a word document.
(Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac). CAN copy and paste in other MS Office
applications, but Word suddendly stopped letting me. Help!

I am working in Word 2004 for Mac and I am trying to page number a
stand-alone Appendix A-1, A-2, A-3, etc. in the footers. There are no
section breaks because this is a separate file from the master doc.
Problem is: I can't seem to do this without it giving me this error
