Word X will crash (OS X 10.3.5) and force a system reboot. Can anyon
see anything in this log that might cause this? I google'd th
exception and codes, and did not come up with much.

Would someone be able to help me with an issue I have with footers?
My wife uses Word to produce meeting minutes for a number of commitees,
and she wants to make all pages have an "initials/date" section for the
chair to sign, except for the LAST page, which should have "I certify

My son's installation of Word 2004 won't grammar check. In the
preferences box the Grammar options are grayed out.
I followed the instructions to reset the preferences files in the
Library, but this did not fix it.

Since installing Panther on my iMac, I find that I cannot append .doc
to saved word files that have been sent as e-mail attachments. This
occurs despite the fact that the box 'append file extension" is ticked.
Generally Word will add the file extension if I re-tick the box however

I'm creating a hyperlink in Word 2004.  I'm trying to link it to a
powerpoint presentation.  It continues to give me the error "cannot open the
specified file".  I continue to "edit hyperlink" and repoint it to the
correct location.  The error continues.

Is there a way of converting text to a table but maintaining the formatting
of the text - headings - heading levels etc? (I seem to think that it was
possible in earlier versions - but now when I convert text to table ALL the
text formatting turns in to "Table Grid".

Working in Word for Mac OSX, when I try to make a Sum or
Average in a table I get the message "Invalid Character
setting"

We are able to open the documents from the server, but when we try to just
save them, we get an error message that says incorrect permissions, we've
tried resetting the permissions on the server, but that hasn't worked. It
seems to be saving the file, but it still throws the error. ...
