I am typing in Word 2004 on my Macintosh, and as I type my name, Richard

I am not a skilled MS Word user and I am trying to insert some .jpg
pictures into a standard Mac word document.  I am using Mac OSX 10.4.2
and Word 2004 v11.2.  The problem is getting the pictures to insert, and
stay, where they were placed.

I was emailed about a dozen different Word documents the other day to my
workplace.  I saved all these documents onto our fileserver.  At work we use

I'm creating a mailer and I'm pulling the data in from a Microsoft Excel

When printing multiple copies of a document, Word sends a separate print job
to the printer for each copy. This is very slow printing to a laser printer
that can repeat the same page over again without downloading it ...

Word 2004 SP2 seems to have a new "feature" that automatically corrupts
files.
Symptoms are:

This bug occurs using Word X and Word 2004.
First I have my secrity in both installations switched on (Macro virus
protection).  This displays the Enable Macros form when documents with
macros are loaded.

Using Borders and Shading, I can apply a nice neat line in the  margin
to the right of a paragraph.  However, I can't seem to figure out how
to have the same line appear for only half the paragraph. When I place
a right border around selected text, I get a box.  How do I get a line

Often when starting Word for X, I see a message like "Word
automatically saved changes in the Normal Template. Do you want to load
it?"
What does this mean? What should I do? I haven't deliberately changed

In the work menu, I have not been able to remove any of the files.  Using
Help, it reads that to Remove a document from the Work menu
