Hi there,
 I'm working on a document with a numbered outline and posting
cross-references all over the place. Normally, the way I'm inserting the
cross-references, only the relative context should be shown. Instead, the

Word 2004 quits every time I try to merge a Filemaker Pro 7 record into a
Word merge document.  There is no problem doing this with Filemaker Pro 6.
Does anyone know whether there is anything I can do to fix this?  Thanks.

I'm hoping that this is some kind of known bug.

I've noticed that sometimes, when I double-click on a Word document in
Finder, Word won't open it.  It animates as if it is opening, then nothing
happens.  I can open the same file from within Word.  Has anyone else had
this problem?

I have Word 98 for Macs and a Mac OS 92.2. system that are now several years

I am new to the Mac and am having trouble with Microsoft Word98 Mac
edition. I am using Mac OSX 10.35 i have installed the german keyboard
layout in the settings however they do not appear when i go to Word98.
They do however appear in text edit!!! So my problem does not lie

Hi!  I was hoping someone could help me, I seem to have lost my
formatting palette, when I open and close it from the toolbar, it looks
like it opens beyond the reach of my cursor (below the screen) and I
can't even see it.  I've tried fiddling around with the "normal"

At my work I create multi-page documents that need to evolve thru
different template attributes during its creation.  I'm looking for a
way to apply different template attributes to a document rather than
cut-and-paste the text into different templates.

A windows user sent me a file in .mdi format.  I understand this to be a
Microsoft graphics image file type.
IS there a filter available for importing this to Word (Mac Word 98) (or
powerpoint?)  I just need to view and print the file.

Is there any documentation available for AppleScripting Word 2004. I've
Googled, searched the newsgroups, and looked on forums. I can find

keyboard input set up, and I can read Greek Unicode websites.  I can type in
Greek using Unicode in TextEdit, but I can¹t in MS Word.  ...
