I am working on a document and I eventually become aware that the
cursor is misaligned with the lines in the text that I have already
written. If I try to edit something, I see that the cursor is not

I'm trying to rotate some Equation Editor equations, but when I select
them, the free rotate tool is greyed out. It 's greyed out for all my
imported tiff images, too. Any thoughts?

How do I turn 1/2 (or 1/4 or whatever) into a single character so it's
not hard to read? I thought it would be in autoformat but it's not.  I
can get an approximation making the first into a superscript and the
second into a subscript, but it doesn't look right, and besides, is a

When I copy-paste (or special paste) an image from Safari into Word X,
and save the document, it cannot display nor print on a PC (Word 2000

I have a client who's reporting a problem that when she opens 1 of several
specific documents, Word crashes after a couple of seconds. It crashes
before she can print or save as.

Just in case anyone else is having problems getting Adobe Acrobat or Adobe
Reader to print on OS 10.3.7...  It appears to be a conflict with
Norton/Virex AntiVirus.

I NEVER want to check docs in US English (no disrespect intended to our
US cousins, but it's not something I need to do) so how can I stop Word
defaulting back to US English? I keep clicking 'UK English' in the
languages option, and clicking 'default', but it always comes back to

I have multiple accounts on the same computer running OS X  10.3.7
I cannot seem to get the User Information to populate from the Word
preferences, to File Properties->Summary->Author

Is there a way to make the page scroll up automatically while typing? I
would like to keep the line I am typing on the same eye level, like

Not sure if this is a Word issue or an Entourage issue so I'm leaving
my question in both forums. I need to mail something to about half of
the contacts in my Entourage address book. The process is initiated
from Word. Problem is, I can't figure out, in Entourage, how to mark

Currently each e-mail address is comma and then space delimited.

I am making a two column text document. Text  is automatically indenting
on all lines after the first in a paragraph. Can I stop this?
