I'm new to the MacWord environment, having just purchased my first mac,
but I've been using Word on a PC for years.  As a writer, I spend many
hours staring at the screen and have become accustomed to changing the
background color from glaring white to other, less tiring colors.  In

I'm setting up a list of paragraphs in MS Word (all the same style). I want
just 6 points of space above the top paragraph, 6 points of space below the
bottom paragraph, and 12 points of space between each of these paragraphs.
So in Format>Paragraph, I set the spacing for the style ...

I'm running Office v. X on my iMac with OS X.?!?  Every time I send a
Word generated doc to a client running Windows XP he opens to find
garbage.  Other clients with XP seem to have no problem.  I'm quite
sure it's a setting on his computer but his I.T. guru (Fortune 500

Is there any way to get comments to print as part of the document when
they're not in balloon form. I see the choice "Document with Markup" in the
Microsoft Word section of the Print dialog box, but that seems to only print
the document itself.

Tracling Who Created a File30 Dec 2004 11:42 GMT4
Is it possible to decompose a word.doc file into it's component parts
and find out when and where it was created?  I work in a high school
and we need a way to check to see that students do their own work. Any
ideas? My assumption is that a word.doc file must be made up of
