I have Word '98 for Mac.  I found out how to get a long dash using
hotkeys, but alas, if I hit the wrong dash (i.e., if I hit the one NOT
on the separate number pad) I get a big, bold, black cursor of death
(it looks like a big black em dash).  When I use that accursed cursor

All of a sudden all of the bullets in my documents have been turned
into "shamrock" bullets.  My resume, papers, outlines, etc, that
contained bullets have all been turned into tiny shamrocks.  Has this
happened to anyone else, it is really strange and very tedious to fix

I have recently installed Word 2004 on my Mac and everything is fine
except that I cannot automatically check the spelling.
I write a document, which contains obvious errors, but, when I go to

I am finding that a one page file formatted in landscape orientation kicks
out an extra blank page after the one page is printed. If I change the
file's orientation to portrait it doesn't do this. Has anyone else had this

I have a one page document which is divided into three more or less
equal parts by a pair of horizontal lines.  I would like to find a way
of ³fixing² the position of these lines so that they wont move no matter
how much typing/carriage returns appears above the line.

I have been getting the disk full error where my file can't save.  I had
never actually had this problem in older versions of Word but I am in Word

Every time I select a word or phrase in Word 2004 and apply an action
such as bold or italic, Word changes the entire document. When I click
Cmd-Z, it undoes the entire document change and leaves the word or
phrase with the desired action.
