I'm running Windows Media Player version 11.0.5721.5230 on a Dell Vostro 1400
laptop with Windows XP Pro.  When I insert a DVD in my D drive, it
automatically opens in Dell Media Direct.  No preliminary window even opens
to give me the option of opening a DVD in Dell Media Direct ...

What's happening when the "tuner" (radio) keeps re-buffering every 1-3 seccond
can't listen to radio due to this. Can anyone help me with this?

I cannot upgrade to windows media 10 series and I don't know why. The
installation goes to about 80% and then it gives a message saying that it

When I try to play a video on ITV.com, I get this as an error message.
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the

I've seen the suggestions pushing Flip4Mac.
Flip4Mac is great. Sometimes. Sadly, Flip4Mac doesn't support certain WMV files; WMV files that have wmas audio simply don't play with sound on my PC.

A cd was ripped incorrectly so I deleted from the library and computer.  Now
when I try to rip it again the application reads it as already ripped to
library and the cd is ejected.  Does anyone know what I can do to remedy this?
