I can see and hear video .mod files by Windows XP on my old PC. Byt on my new PC with Windows Vista I can only see but not hear video .mod files. The .mod files comes from a JVC digital camera. Con someone help me?

I just updated to wmp 11 from a previous version...don't know which.. I used to be able to see the total duration of a cd when playing in Library... Can I still do that or has that useful function been removed?
