I am wanting to watch video replays on the NHL.com website, but the
video never plays. All I get is a blank video window. It seems to be
wanting to play with Windows Media Player 10. I have WMP 9 for Mac OS X
and I also have Flip4Mac. I can play videos from other websites. Why

I select the .wav file and WMP11 plays it, but there is no sound.
There is sound when other files such as .mp3 play.
I looked in the properties of one of the .wav files and the bit rate was
very high, as well as the size of the file (1411kbps)/11.1MB) 1min 16 secs

ince upgrading to media player 11 from version 10 I am unable to burn any
disks.
I select the tracks that I want to burn and insert a CDR, but on pressing
`burn` button get a message saying windows media player will start

Windows Media Player 10 no longer works for files recorded with earlier
version codec. Documented fix is to reinstall Meida Player 10.
I tried reinstalling, but site detects Media Edition 2002 ( my OS) as XP
and sends me to Media Player 11 which, of course, will not install ...

Can I get my mac to play photoslideshow encoded with WVP2.
I have installed Windows Media Player 9, Flip4Mac and VLC player and they
will only play the sound, but not the vidio/photoslideshow. They are all up
to date.

I have installed wmp in MAC OS. It can play the wmv files which are located
locally on the server. But it doesnt play the files from local streaming
server.
Any help please......

I downloaded windows media player 11 but for some reason the player does not
seen to work with a site I wanna go on
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/click_online/default.stm if you click
watch now the player loads connects but does not play anything so all I see

Basically I don't want Windows Media Player 11 and was wondering how can I
stop Media Player 10 checking for updates?
