When I try to play either wav or midi files in WMP v.10 or WMP v.11 I receive
the following message:
"Cannot play the file, the player might not support the file type or might
not support the codec that was used to compress the file".

Hey everyone I cant play clips on the net. for example at break.comjust a
white bos with a x in the top corner apears in place of the clip.

I recently installed WMP10 to go with my new ZEN NANO.  When I start WMP10 my
laptop locks up.  Laptop is new.  with 1 gb ram.  Where should I look for a
solution.

If so many people are having problems playing CNN videos using Windows Media
Player, then why hasn't Microsoft and the Great Bill Gates responded with a

I have WMP videos on my website & MAC users say they can't view them. File
Format not supported is the WMP error. Is there another format I can offer
for MAC users to be able to see the videos? Or do MAC users have to be using
somehting other than WMP to view WMP videos?

radio online with my PC for years without difficulty, but cant on this

Please help.   I am trying to connect to online radio via windows media, and
get "problems connecting to...".  I have dial up on a 2 year old gateway that
is more than capable of surfing the web and playing tunes simultaneously.

Some months ago I installed WMP11-enu (american-english) and it worked fine
until last week. Yesterday I rolled back to WMP10 (works fine, no errors),
deleted the library, uninstalled all other players, performed System File
Checker with original Windows XP Home CD (non SP1,SP2), ...

media player 9, did work,just stopped working.I can play songs in
player9,lets me think i have songs ready to burn,goes through procedure,but
when i try to play cd,has no songs on ther.won't burn cd,what is wrong,had

All of my videos (which played fine in WMP 9 yesterday) now start in color
for about 2 seconds, then turn gray -- about 90% opaque. It seems the problem
has occurred after the installation of Security Update for Windows 2000
(KB904706). Is that a  coincidence, or is there another ...
