I recently bought a new Powerbook G4 just before the new intel macbooks came
out. I want to watch video footage using media player and have tried to
download various software inlcuding Flip4Mac and WM9 for Mac OS but to no
luck.

I have a macmini with Intel. Have installed Media Player 9 for Mac and
everything is running fine. But I received a file that, when opened, gives
the response: file format cannnot be opened.
It has a .cmf.wmv format, of which I have no clue.

I tried to install the player in various versions but every time I
download them and try to install it says there is no specified version
with which to install. I cannot get the downloaded file to open and

I have a Sony HC3 HD camcorder which outputs mpeg2 hd format.  Widows Media
player 10 plays with no problem.
I want to be able to play my HD camcorder output on the X box 360 in HD.
The x box has no problem playing wmv HD files in HD, but does not play back

Hey all,
I have a macmini running os 10.4.6 and am using WMP9. previously this
was working fine.
recently i've been trying to view asx streams and was having a few

Few days ago, upgraded (??) from Windows Pro 2000 to Windows XP Pro - haven't
noticed any speed gain - however, Media Player 10 will not run (Internal
Application Error) for Users with "limited" access yet will work for User
with "admin". I've looked at past posts, tried a ...
