I am using WMP for Mac OS X (v. 9.0.0) (running on a G4 Powerbook with OS X
10.4.2).  
How do I clear the list of recently played files (i.e., file names listed
under "Open Recent" menu)?

Can anybody get these to work reliably?  They sometimes work, sometimes
don't.  When you quit the browser (Safari or Firefox) and relaunch
sometimes they work, sometimes not.  Very discouraging.  The paid Real
videos used to work totally reliably.

As the topic suggest, Windows Media Player won't even start on my
computer. I am running tiger and after the program bounces around for a
while and quits, it gives me an error message and quits. Here is the
error log for the quitting program:

i have the windows media player 9 for mac osx. i've downloaded the program
multiple times but each time i try to play something it comes up "The file

I just install WMP 9 on my Tiger (OS X Version 10.4.2). When I try to open
songs(with WMA extension). I always receive such message: "The specified
stream type is not recognized." I don't have any trouble to open these songs
in Windows XP. Can somebody help me out? Thanks

when i try to uninstall windows media player on mac, a message comes up and
says that a bunch of stuff is locked and i cant uninstall it. Any ideas?

Hey folks, I am running OS/X Tiger and have started getting the error
message "The hardware license for this content is inconsistent"  when trying

I have a handfull of .wma files that I've transferred from my old PC
onto my Mac (OS X 10.3.9) that aren't being played by my WMP. All of
these files had been ripped from CDs that I own (many of them from the
mid-90s, when I presume there was little/no protection to
