Can't open/download wmv files on the net using AOL, IE,
Safari or Netscape. All I get is pages of codes. Has anyone
got e a fix?

I want to add WMP to my new G5 running OSX.3. I downloaded Windows
Media.sitx, double clicked and got a message that said the file has been
corupted or may not be a valid archive. When I select yes, I get a disk error
(unexpected eof) and then a message that the file is damaged.

What will be the best encoding configuration for mac?
I have a video and I want to encode to se ok in mac. Wich
codec´s are best. Windows Media audio 9.1 and video 8 it´s
OK, or is better another.

I  get a message that says I don't have a plugin and mentions
"application/x-oleobject"
Is there a way to get this for OS X Panther?

When I try to play videos on cmt.com or VH1 I get the following error
message: WINDOWS MEDIA TEST Sorry, video is not supported for
macintosh users at this time.
It trys to load the player but then it doesn't and I get the message.

formats. Both of them eventually give me Windowsmedia.sitx
which my stuffitexpander says is not decompressed and I can

I have been using Windows Media Player to view several clips that I
have downloaded.  They have all worked fine, until one day when they
suppenly stopped working and the error said "The specified stream type
is not recognized."  I really don't want to have to delete everything

i am trying to access internet radio using media player 9 operating on
OSX10.3.7 but there is an error message saying "error creating unique tmp
