Does anyone know if you can playback a DVR-MS format video with the Windows
MEdia Player for Mac?  DVR-MS is the format used by the Windows Media Center
for recording live tv.

I have a PowerMac G3 with OS9.2.2, 1Gb ram.  For about half of the wmv files
I try to run, I get audio only.
Any suggestions?

Help! I want to get rid of WMP for Mac. I've tried deleting and then emptying
trash, but it tells me that the files are locked and I can't delete them.
I've tried "Get Info" on the file, and then messing around with the ownership
& permissions. The checkbox in the Get Info window ...

I'm trying  to play DAT files.. which are Video Disc files on my MAC.
It usually plays on the PC fine, using Windows Media Player 10. Please

I've come accross a few sites that stream wmp 9 with the mime
application/x-mplayer2...a lot of times Mac browsers cant load the
stream into the plugin & its frustrating...they say its missing the wmv
9 plugin but I have it loaded & enabled...theres no suffix for it

My files wmv always show the same stupid ipod advertisment ! I did all
what advised  corentin, but nothing changed, the same ipod comes
back again and again; What to do next if the dance around the
computer fails ?

How come some files send me back to http://windowsmedia.com within my safari
browser? It told me that I was missing a codec required to play certain
files, but it is so bad that I just try to avoid using that format at all
cost! please help me!
