I ahev two copies of media  player and I am unable to trash them. I
continuously get a meesage that says, htm file is in use or error-10810. I
would like to delte both and do a fresh install. I am using OSX 10.3 and a
Mac G4.

Is it possible to play back several files in succession in Media Player
for Mac?  In the Windows version, this is a piece of cake, simply
requiring you to highlight them all, right click, and play.  I recently
switched to a Mac, however, and I am at a loss for how to do this in

On My new powermac anything I play in wmp comes out in mono(only the right
channel works)

I am unable to play a WMV file that a friend sent over.   The error
message states that I need WMP 9 to view the file.  I just downloaded
WMP 9 today, so I assume I have the latest version ...

Seems that the Windows Media Video 9 Image v2 codec isn't available on the
Mac (WMP v9 for Mac OS X). Any chances this will become available any time
soon? Or is there a workaround? Thanks.

I wish to move music files from windows media player to itunes allowing me to
download to my ipod.   The files are protected and will not move, is there a
way of transfering them...........or unprotecting them?

I got this alert while I was browsing on the net, currently my mac is running
on 10.3.5 and I don't have any idea on this problem or where to download
the plug-in.
The page "SHOW PAGE!" has content of MIME type "application/x-oleobject".

this is not an executable file.. cannot open it

Hi, I'm new to mac so I downloaded the familiar old face of WMP (for Mac
v.9).  It plays WMV fine, however when I try to play MPEG it says; 'unable to
play, file format invalid'.  Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

- I'm accessing a horse racing online betting site called XPressbet.
- I've got the latest Mac system 10.3.7 and Media Player for Windows 9.
- I try to access a certain racetrack video feed and a W M Player window
appears briefly before a dialogue box comes on and says: "Cannot play ...

After having downloade the WMP ( for MAc OSX, I get the notification,
that the file with suffix .sitx does not appear to be compressed or
encoded. It is advised to get more information about the contents of
the file. What is wrong?
