ok so anytime i hit on a wmv file it saya windows media player quit unexpectedly. this happens everytime. so i try and trash it and not have it on my mac right? wrong it has locked itself on and i cant trash it. it keeps a steady stream of "such and such application is locked " ...

I've tried coral reef adventure hd dvd on the mac and it's a no go. No matter what they (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/ software/Macintosh/osx/default.aspx#newsgroups) tell you. I have all the required hardware and believe it will really only play on xp.

I am attempting to write an ASX file that loads properly in WMP for MacOS X, but whenever I load my ASX I get "The playlist format is not recognized" the asx file works perfectly on the PC, but always fails on the mac.

I just downloaded and installed WMP 9 for Mac 10 from the Microsoft website and when I open the program. it took forever to load and then immediately said the applicactin was not responding. Why is this? Does any one have a fix or solution for this problem?

I just wanted to check out Sirius Radio. Told I needed WMP for sample listen. Clicked on supplied link to WMP. Clicked the download for OS 9x (I have 9.2.2 and Internet Explorer 5.1.7). Put the successfully downloaded file into my OS 9 Applications folder. Tried Serius

I've installed Windows Media Player on a customer's PowerMac G4 800 DP running MacOS X Jaguar 10.2.8 When launching the application, I see it activated in the dock and immediately stopping its launch.

More info: I'm running panther OS X. when I try to open the file that I can't delete, a message comes up saying, "the application windowsmediaplayer has unexpectedly quit.

Running OS X 10.3.2, and as of upgrading to that version yesterday I cannot play an .asf file - I receive the error message "The channel does not support the stream format." I am using WMP9. Any ideas as to why this is now failing, and how to fix it?

When I double click the installation icons it gives me a screen asking for a password, and whatever I put it says invalid password. Is there a specific password I should put in?

When I double-click the installer, I get an icon on my desktop called "Windows Media.sitx". Then nothing happens (that I can see). When I click that icon, it opens StuffIt and attempts to re-stuff itself. Help? Thanks in advance.
