I have previously used Virtual PC on my PowerMac G4, It worked great.
It came with windows XP on the install CD.
I now have a Macbook Pro, I wish to run Windows XP natively on my mac
via Bootcamp.

I purchased Virtual PC for Mac Version 7 from Amazon.com.  I can't
install it.  I have checked and rechecked the system requirements.  I
have a Mac G5 using OS X 4.9. (the pre-Intel version.) This is my home
computer and I am the administrator.  Once the installation is

Apparently the next version of Parallels Desktop is going to make it
easier to transfer across your "virtual machine" from Virtual PC and
VMWare. It also will allow you to use your Boot Camp drive to boot in
Parallels (and vice-versa).

I updated my laptop to a MacBook Pro and did not realize that Virtual
