Re-installing Windows XP with Virtual PC 6.123 Mar 2007 21:34 GMT3
I recently installed some software on my Virtual PC (Virtual PC 6.1
installed with Windows XP Professional. I am running it on a Mac G4
Powerbook under system 10.4.9.) Next time I started up the PC, I was
confronted with a screen offering to help me set up  Windows XP. I

I am having difficulty using Virtual PC to download aprogram to my
iMacG5.  Someone at Microsoft helped me download one Windows-based
program the other day, which works OK.
But it evidently will cost me $35 if I call or email Microsoft again.

Has anyone got experience with installing Windows Vista on a Virtual PC?
I have the idea to maybe do so, but the only thing is that my virtual pc's
have a limit of 256mb RAM.
Is it wise for me to give it a try?

Since upgrading to Tiger (a good long time ago) printing from Virtual
PC 7.02 has been flakey.
I rarely use printing (fortunately) as I only use VPC for Quickbooks
now and only use printing from VPC when I want to do a cheque run.

stating:

Virtual PC suddenly unable to play sounds11 Mar 2007 22:57 GMT3
Just recently, when I try to start up virtual PC I get a message that
says virtual PC was not able to start up the mac audio system, and is
therefore unable to play sounds. Up until then, sounds had always
played just fine in virtual PC, and I have no idea what could have

I  have a mac 10.3.3 OSX G4..... Virtual PC 7 says it is compatible
with G5 + up.... I don't have that.
So what version of Virtual PC do i need?  Thanks for any help!!

Until now my Garmin Nuvi connected perfectly to Virtual PC. Help
I updated the Map information on Virtual PC and when I tried to send
to the device ie the NUvi it could not find it. I have tried
unplugging the device and reconnecting. It tells me that a device is

When reading the "Virtual PC for Mac Version 7" Guide, it says that it
will ask for my Windows Product key, but it does not, and I am not
sure why.  I followed instructions, but nothing comes up.  What do I

I use my Powerbook Titanium G4 (400 mz) to do work at home, using my
Wifi router to access my Epson inkjet using printer sharing.  The router
uses ethernet to acc acceses an iMac, which is attached to the printer
via USB.

I have MacBook and installed "paralles desktop".  I use Windows XP as virtual
PC.
It takes time to log in Novell server, Novel client ver. 4.82. Please let me
know if there is any solution for this issue.
