LAN Connection Speed09 Nov 2006 11:10 GMT2
I am using VPC 7.02 on a G4 powermac with OS 10.4.8 and am connected to a
corporate LAN.  On the mac side, I have a 1 gb connection but VPC is limited
to 10 mb.  This is true for Windows 2000 and XP builds.  Is there a fix for
this problem?
IP Addresses in Virtual PC09 Nov 2006 00:56 GMT2
I've just set up Virtual PC 7.0.2 to run in Tiger on a 1.25GHz dual
processor G4 mac. Everything seems sweet but (virtual) Internet
Explorer will only access a site if its IP number is entered rather
than its domain name (eg: 66.102.9.104 instead of www.google.co.uk).

Internet Explorer sites in VPC708 Nov 2006 20:02 GMT2
I was considering buying this software for my powerbook G4. One of the
main reasons was because there are some websites with videos that I
cannot view on my mac (for example mtv, vh1, etc.). Would it be
possible to view these videos with Virtual PC without problem (or would

Hi there, I would like to make a back-up of my virtual machine. I'd
like to do this from the Mac side. I'll be travelling for several
months, and using software in Windows in the process. So I think if I
made a back-up of the VPC file on the Mac that would be easier than

Failed write to c: drive04 Nov 2006 21:51 GMT1

Trouble printing / saving to PDF04 Nov 2006 21:49 GMT1
I have a Powerbook G4 15" and am running VPC 7.0.2 (050607) and
Quickbooks 2005.
For the past couple of months I have had trouble when I tried to "Save

.vhd to .hdd file transfer01 Nov 2006 23:57 GMT6
So, I just got an intel Mac, but I was running Virtual PC.  All my
files were on the .vhd file, but parallels software  works with an .hdd
file.  I thought I could trick parallels into using it by changing the
suffix, but no dice.  Any ideas on how to get windows files off of that
