I'm trying to use control + Click as the PC equivalent of Mac command +
shift in order to highlight/select several non-adjacent items/files in
a list.  It doesn't seem to work.  Is this the wrong keyboard shortcut
for PCs? Only a single item is highlighted/selected.  I have G4 1 ...

I am running VPC 7.0.2 with OS 10.4.7 on a Powerbook G4 Ti 667.
I would like to install AVG Anti-Virus. Given the Mac firewall, do I
also need the AVG firewall? What about Ewido anti-spyware?

I am wondering if anyone has had any success getting midi to work on
Virtual PC 7. I have some midi equipment that I can not edit on the mac
platform. I have a midiman midisport 2x2 USB unit and it does not work.

My XP was very slow so I downloaded ClamWin anti-virus solftware,
installed it, and have been running a scan for the past 72 hours. Is
this length of time normal? In the past hour I've seen no change from
the file‹\WINDOWS\Driver Cache\i386\driver.cab. A few files do go by

After I have copied the files to the HD I get a message saying you need
OSX 10.1 or 10.2 or later. I have 10.2. What could be causing this
error and how can I resolve this to instll VP6. Any help or ideas are

I have been trying to install VPC 7 on my pre-Intel Mac Mini (OS X Tiger),
but cannot get past the install key screen, I enter my name and key, but the
"next" button stays greyed out, I can only go backwards.
Anyone else get stuck on this one? Any suggestions?

I've been trying to figure out the keyboard shortcuts on the Parallels
version of the virtual pc.
Figured out you can use all the Function key shortcuts as you would in
windows if you just press the Fn key at the same time!  e.g. Fn + F4 in

Running Windows Media Player 11 on VPC 7.0.2 and XP is like being stuck
in quicksand. Is there any way to strip it down, speed it up?
If not, how do I uninstall to make way for version 10 (assuming that
version is any better/faster)?
