Any help would be appreciated.
On my Mac G4 (OSX 10.4.6) I have installed Virtual PC 7 without
Windows.
I've purchased Win98se separately & am having difficulty getting

Upon attempting to attach a file (excel), I get:
Virtual PC has encountered an error while copying files.
An unknown error has occurred (10).
It seems as if VPC does not allow Outlook to directly access the Mac HD.

I am running several usb devices on a mac mini (1.42) with 1g (512 for
vpc) with XP SP2. One of the devices is a usb/serial device, the other
a usb gps device.
The serial port either refuses to communicate or dissapears from the

My virtual pc 7.0 suddenly crashed. I retart the pc and the windows xp

I purchased vpc7 upgrade, installed it, ran it a couple of times with windows
98, then attempted to upgrade to windowsXPpro.  In the process, which I have
repeated many times, in different variations, my WindowsOS has become
corrupted. Some files are missing.

When I install Windows NT 4.0 (Server & Workstation), I chosen to use the 3
floppies at reboot. But after specifying the mass storage device, the
computer stops with "Please wait..." below. Then my computer reboots
itself!!!!

Hi, just installed Virtual PC 7 with Windows 2000 Professional with no
problems.  Went online to look for Windows updates and 26 critical ones
came up.  Downloaded and installed all 26 with no problems.  Computer

aware I need to download something from Microsoft to allow me to install on
10.4.6 but just wanted to ask about this.  Is this needed before installing?

Wondering if anyone can point me to a program or setting that will show
what VPC claims as it's hard drive serial number.  Not the Hard Drive
Volume Number, which can be changed.

Hi all... I was using VPC yesterday like always, and quit using saved
state.  When I went to the start menu today to load it back up, it said
that it could not load the start menu.  When I then opened the VPC

I have been trying (unsuccessfully, so far) to create a new virtual machine
(a PC) in a new user account in my iMac.
I have the original VPC5 CDs (i.e. a VPC5 installer disk, plus a Win2000
disk), and the original upgrade CD for VPC6.

I need to use the '\' key in VPC when I press this the key that gives me \
in Mac OSX in VPC I get a #.

I'm getting really desperate here because I am getting a string of
useless advice on this issue.  I've already tried installing from Safe
Boot and copying the CD onto my hard drive first, and it's always the
same thing.  During the restart of the installation process, I'm told

with the emulater windows xp professional program.  It does not see my
