How much PC memory does VPC need to deal with this all-in-one printer?24 Apr 2006 22:52 GMT3
After I installed the software for an HP all-in-one type of printer

My response was to increase the "PC memory" for the VPC from 96 MB up to
Virtual PC 7 no longer accessing the Internet.24 Apr 2006 21:17 GMT2
I have never had problems accessing the Internet from Virtual PC 5, 6,

computer, all of a sudden I could no longer access the Internet from
Virtual PC 7. I've tried reformatting my Mac's hard drive.  I've

I'm currently using a new iBook G4, 1.42Ghz, 512MB (soon to be updated to
1GB) and need to use MS Access for work.  I can't really afford a new intel
machine so am thinking about installing virtual PC and running Access that
way. Could anyone advise how I can expect it to perform.  ...

OS/2 Warp Server for eBusiness and VPC7?19 Apr 2006 23:22 GMT1
I'm attempting to install OS/2 Warp Server to eBusiness within Virtual
PC 7 for Mac; so far it has failed to partition the disks when
selecting 'Windows NT' as the OS choice - I get the farthest by
choosing 'UNIX' as the OS type, at which point the install formats the

Networking in VPC7 with Virtual Switch ON18 Apr 2006 19:31 GMT2
I run a local network of virtual machines located in 3 or 4 Macs. 2 of
these virtual machines are located in my PowerBook G4. One of them acts
like a server holding license information. Other virtual machines
including my second virtual machine are clients for the server.

Today I intalled VirtualPC 7 with XP Pro on a Quad G5 and after the 2nd

Having started the install of VPC 7.0.2 since about 10 a.m., it seems
almost not worth running this program.  How does Microsoft(R) make the
claims for something that is not near what they claim it is to perform
at?
