I have a new MacBook Pro (the Intel dual-core laptop) with OSX Tiger
and the patches installed.  I tried installing Virtual PC 7 and it
installed successfully.  And upon rebooting I get "The application
Virtual PC quit unexpectedly..." on reboot, and always the same thing

I'm needing some help getting Microsoft Update and / or Windows Update to
work.  I have an ancient copy of XP home and Pro and have had no luck
getting the Update to work.  I've followed all the suggestions Microsoft
Knowledgebase comes up with with no avail.  I'm using VPC 7.0.2.  ...

I've spent a bit of time searching for a solution to a problem I have with
Sourcesafe on Virtual PC, but I've not found any solutions so far. There
have been threads that kinda come close but nothing that actually mirrors
the problem I'm experiencing.

While in Virtual PC 7 I need to connect a USB thumb drive that is
optimized for high-speed USB. I get a pop-up box that says "this device
would perform better if it was connected to a high-speed USB 2.0 port"
I can still use the drive but it is VERY slow. I have a newer 1.67 GHz

Is it impossible for VPC to allow Windows programs running on W2k to
have full read/write access to data files held on a Linux Samba server?
Our network server uses Linux (Navaho Linux). All PCs and Macs can
access this share directly and with no problems I know of.

I completed installing Virtual PC 7 for Mac with Windows XP.  I am unable to
run windows Update or complete the license activation online.  I am able to
surf and ping servers all over the web.

have selected this printer.  When I am using VPC, I cannot print from
either WordPad or Publisher.  The print job goes through but nothing

I need help, basically, im running VPC 6 with XP and 2k, both will not
run the davinci sony ericsson phone unlocker, im getting no help from
the guys over there, just thought you peeps could help me out.

I use a microsoft server for work. Can I log in through a mac. And if I can
how? I usually use remote destop in windows.

I'm new to Entourage. I brought my address book from Palm. The problem is I
only see the first line of my notes. The rest only become visible when I
double click an entry and go into the edit mode.
How do I get it so I see everything all the time?

I'm new to Entourage. How do I make what I see on the screen larger. I can't
find any settings in preferences, nor does Apple+ work.

I just tried to load Virtual PC 7 and it won't install.  I upgraded to
7.0.2 and it still will not open.  It is the standalone version and I
have tried installing it several times.  It simply will not open to go
to the 2nd step.  Does anyone know what I can do?
