VPC standalone vs budled with 2000/XP etc24 Mar 2006 01:59 GMT1
Can someone clarify the requirements for installing VPC 7 on a Powerbook?
I can get a standalone VPC cheaply. I assume it doesn't have a version of
VPC that comes with it. Do I need to buy XP separately or do I have to find
a VPC that includes XP?
VPC7 Win XP not using memory over 512 MB?23 Mar 2006 22:05 GMT6
Installed 2 GB extra in new iMacG5 dual core, now it's 2,5 GB and Mac specs
says it is running fine, but Win XP under Virtual PC 7 only recognizes 512
MB (which is way too little to make it run swift) so, how do I get VPC / Win
XP to use 2 GB of the 2,5?

Just luck or am I doing something right?21 Mar 2006 23:26 GMT3
I have already posted here about my almost complete satisfaction with
VPC7 now that I've migrated it onto a G5. That experience continues.
The prog runs rock-solid, and my apps in XP just fly, rivalling the
performance of similar native Mac apps. I notice someone else here

Microsoft window stays small and the remainder of my screen ...
