when ever i try to install Linux (tried Redhat and few other versions) the iso would load to the welcome screen and as soon as i press install the VPC keeps complaining that the it encoiuntered and needs to restart. I have been able to successfuly install windows XP pro

The XP Professional Setup says, "Caution, formatting this drive will delete all files in it. C: Partition1 15369 MB (15355 MB free) Actually I only have 10GB free, so I don't know where the 15 comes from.

This has happened to me twice in a row now. I go to start -> Shut Down, and it restarts instead. What is up with that? vpc 7.0.2 with xp pro on a powerbook g4 1.67

I have a VHD file that was created in Virtual PC for windows, it should I believe be possible to import this into VPC7 on Mac. The import process seems to succeed, but when the OS boots the error "a fatal processor error occoured" is thrown & the OS restarts.

I have purchased "Virtual PC for Mac Version 7 WITH WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL", and can successfully create Virtual PC's; HOWEVER, one of my installs needed a Windows repair, so I wanted to boot from the Windows XP Pro CD but I don't seem to have one supplied with the product!

I have VPS 7.0.2 running on OS X 10.4.5. In VPS, all of the menu items under "Drives" are grayed. In VPC PC Settings, the Shared Files is marked as "Uninstalled". Because everything is grayed or uninstalled, I cannot create any shared folders. The VCP Help also has disappeared.

I just updated to 10.4.5, and my VPC 6.1 seems to be hosed on my Powerbook (G4, 1.5ghz). No programs will open, either from the desktop or the "start" button. I've discarded hard drive changes, shutdown the PC, and restarted it. Still no programs will run. Anyone else have this

I am running VPC 7.0.2 on an iMac G4 running 10.4.4. I can't get Windows to shut down in the normal way, by going to the start button, and following through to Shut down. I think it maybe that my Window XP Professional may have locked up the Virtual hard drive, but I can't
