Is there a download of a Virtual PC Demo for the Mac?
I use VPC for Windows extensively and am the proud owner of a new
iBook, so was curious to know whether I can try out some existing disk
images without shelling out for a copy first.

I'm running Tiger 10.4.3 w/ the latest version of VPC 7 and I cannot A)
HotSync my Palm Tungsten E and B) use my Sony RM-AX4000 remote control
which also uses USB to set. I have searched all over the internet and
seen problems with VPC and USB dating all the way back to 2002! And

I'm running VPC Sr1 with Win-XP SR2 on a G5 2 GHz DP PowerMac.
Once Win-XP opens the cursor is locked inside its window, only using the
command key allows the cursor to move outside the Win-XP window; however,
once outside the share folder option of the drives menu is greyed out ...

After upgrading my G5 2GHz DP PowerMac to 10.4.3 two VPC issues arose which I
haven't been able to resolve:
1. VPC now starts up automaticall y when the Mac is started.
2. A VPC alert window opens up before Win-XP Starts up with the message

I was running VPC7 and that common message came up regarding virtual
switching could not be started.  Which is strange since I have been
running successfully for just over a year.  As it stated VPC will still

What is the procedure for completely removing Windows XP Professional and
Virtual PC 7.x?  I'm running TIger 10.4.3. on a PowerBook G4 with 1GB RAM,
80 GB HD.

I'm rebuilding my system after a disk crash, and I need to re-download
my Virtual PC 6.0. I originally purchased and downloaded it online from
Connectix, and I still have my registration number. But I can't find a
download site anymore.

I've recently been experiencing total lockup - mouse & KB - on my G4
(OS 10.3.9, VPC7.0.2, Win XP Pro) and am certain it is not caused by
the Mac itself. And, yes, I have cleared out the dust from the
processor vent!

All of a sudden of my VOC 7.0.2 i9 lost all cd or dvd rom support.  It
no longer reconizes cds or dvs when insterted nor do i get a capture
option.  i am lost to this because i have other virtual windows OSes
running fine and still accepting cds but my win xp install will not

I have read many threads already in different forums but I don't know
where to start. I can't access the internet on VPC, even though my

first i installed virtual pc 7.0 without a problem on a G4 (OS 10.3.9).
when trying to install windows xp professional, virtual pc cannot
detect the cd in the cd-rom-drive.
what am i doing wrong?

I have a G4 Powerbook running 10.4.3 and VPC 7.0.2.  I recently
upgraded from 512 mb of ram to 1.5 gigs.  I cannont find a way to
allocate more than 512 mb to VPC.  Is this possible?  Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Have had this problem on and off, now it seems to be permanent.
Virtual PC 7.01 (and for a while 7.02), Canon Pixma printer, OS 10.4.3,
when I use the VM printer from VPC sometimes its fine, but sometimes

I can't print via the VM Additions printer.  It sends it OK, but then
the print job just sits in the Mac's printer queue and never prints.
Am I missing a step?  According to Virtual PC, printing is a snap!  The
printer works fine from the Mac side, but from windows it doesn't want
