| VPC 7 with which Windows version? | 20 Dec 2005 16:00 GMT | 4 |
I'm thinking of upgrading my VPC to version 7. I'm currently using version 6 with Windows 98 -- very outdated, I know. My question is, do I need to update to a newer Windows version, too, or can I make do with 98 for a little while longer after getting VPC 7?

| Pause problems | 18 Dec 2005 02:35 GMT | 2 |
I've looked everywhere I knew to see if anyone else has been having this problem. I can't use the shortcut key Command-escape to pause my virtual pc anymore. I've tried screwing around with the preferences, but it's just not working. I have no idea if it has anything to do

| VPC 5.0.4 problem & question | 17 Dec 2005 20:58 GMT | 8 |
Apologies if this has already been covered in the group, but I haven't found a similar issue raised. VPC 5.0.4 was running happily on my iMac even after upgrading my OS to Jaguar, then started getting errors. Now it won't load at all -- can't

I am running Virtual PC 7.0.2 with Windows XP pro. I purchased it so I could use my Nokia N70 as a modem, and transfer music to it, however when it is plugged in the computer cannot 'see' it. This even happens when it is selected in the USB setting menu.

I am running Windows 2000 with VPC 7 for Mac (10.4.3) on a PB G4 Ti 667. After many attempts I have been unable to install Norton Internet Security 2004 (which Norton says it doesn't support with VPC), so I am using NIS 2000 instead.

Hi, So far on VPC7 for Mac with WinXP Home, I can surf the web, download and install programs, send and receive E-mail, but when the installed software (including WinXP) goes to it's registration page and I click "Submit", it just times out without connecting to their site.

| SP2 slowed my virtual machine 50% | 13 Dec 2005 22:03 GMT | 2 |
After reinstalling WinXP Home, I decided to undergo an experiment where I would benchmark my new VM compared my old VM. Since my existing VM had been faithfully upgraded via Windows Update, I assumed that it's performance would "stand pat" if not improve. However, my existing VM
