Im really stuck and am in desperate need of help!  I have a PowerMac G5
Dual 2.3Ghz running tiger and have installed Virtual PC 7.0.2 because i
i cannot log into my work system (called Signify) using any Mac
browser, and i desperately need to to get my work done!

I have a case where I need to make a wireless connection inside o
Windows using Virtual PC 7.
I understand I can connect wireless in the Mac environment and the
connect inside of VPC7.

Will VPC 6 work on G5 running Panther?

I had to delete VP6 to make room for VP7. I now cannot find any files
that were created in VP6. Please tell me that deleting VP6 did not wipe
out all my data in that virtual machine?

Can any one help me out with this one? I installed in once and it
worked ok, but then after a bit of use/abuse from me it became a bit
eratic, so I decided to unistall it and re-install it fresh. However,
now when I try it will install the baisc VPC program but won't install

Have been using VPC for years for accessing our business bank. Upgraded to
7.02 from 7.01 and the modem no longer works. I have tried and tried to get
it working but it just can't see the modem any more. I am using a G5 with an
internal modem and have not had any problems until now.

After installing DOS 6.22 in VPC 7.0.2, I added the DOS Additions to
share folders.  I can select a folder to share from the Mac Dialog and
it is given a letter.  When I do a directory of that shared folder I
get:

latest VPC on iBook G4, 1.2 gig RAM, XP Home SP2 with latest MS updates
PC boots, gets to XP startup screen with progress bar.
Aspect ratio changes to slight widescreen orientation, flashes, then
returns to XP startup screen. Repeats.

I have tried installing a program called Brain Sound Studio. Everytime
I clicked on the .exe file, it says that brainsoundstudio.exe
encountered a problem and forces me to close it. I tried the file on a
friend's computer (PC) and he said it worked. But when I tried it again

When I try to start VpC 7.02, whiched worked recently, it now closes &
give the report error to Apple when I try to load it on the powerbook.
Running Os X, 10.4.2 & just loaded latest security updates & Safari
updates. Hoping it's related to those patches being applied.

If my G4 Powerbook goes to sleep with VPC running I find I cannot wake
up VPC so end up "crashing" it to solve the problem. Does anyone know
the answer to this one?

I have recently purchased a Mac G5 and have added the VPC7.  I have a
problem with the number pad.  It is working in Mac, but when I switch
to  VPC I cannot use it.  I am a windows user and new to the Mac side.

been under VP7.  Has it worked for you?  Did you run into any problems?
Did it work under Shared Networking?
I've been running into issues with it myself (yes, I have VPC 7.0.2)

When I try to load counter strike source on my virtual pc it says unable to
init shader system. I read that this is because you need to update your
graphics card, but I don¹t know how to.
