I have VPC 7 on my 1Book G4, using Windows NT (installed separately) No
difficulty connecting with my HP 5700 using normal Mac, but when using
VPC I cannot connect - - acts as though there is no connection.
Attempts to install/connect fail.

So I got Virtual PC for my G5, with Windows XP Professional, and I'm
trying to load Virtual Studio.net Professional on it.  I keep getting
the Virtual Machine Additions to pop up, but even though I install it,
the CD doesn't load the setup file for VS.NET.

I've read several newsgroups and messages, but they've not cleared the
issue: no internet connection, no dns, no gateway, and W2K insists on
using AIPA to assign an address, which I can't seem to edit out in the

When my Maxtor OneTouch 300 GB external HD (FireWire & USB) was
