I had no problems with the VPC7 install, and I can run a XP Pro virtual machine fine, but I need to use Server 2003 and although the install appears to have worked correctly, I can't get into the machine, because it asks me to hit ctrl+alt+del, and it just wont work.

Hey folks, I've now lost the ability to drag-and-drop files from my Mac desktop to the Virtual PC (VPC 7, OS 10.4.2). I was able to the first couple times I ran it, but no longer. The clipboards aren't shared either.

VPC 7 is running Windows XP Home just fine on my iMac, but I can't get the one program I needed it to run to load (Cannot open a DLL). When I talked to tech support, they indicated BDE which is imbedded in their program was probably the problem. Does anyone know a work around?

Is it possible to assign a specific mac address to my virtual machine that is running Linux? I have Virtual PC for Mac version 7.02 I have a Linux program that I need to run but the license is tied to eth0. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

If you're using virtual PC for windows and you have anti-virus enabled(specificaly nortion(and I'd like to hear from Mcafee users, as I want to move to that) I disabled my anti-virus on a test box and to 200 + % performance

Anyone hear about this? Just saw the press release and was wondering how it compares with VPC 7. I find VPC 7 (iMac G5 1.8GHz, 2 GB RAM, OSX 10.3.7) to be a real dog--it functions with MS Project, but not really well. Ken Gorelick

I'm trying to install Windows XP Pro on my new version of VPC 7 that came without an OS. I didn't buy an OS because I can get one free from the MSDN Academic Alliance. Because of this, I'm trying to install from an ISO image or a CD burned from an ISO image.
