I had no problems with the VPC7 install, and I can run a XP Pro virtual
machine fine, but I need to use Server 2003 and although the install appears
to have worked correctly, I can't get into the machine, because it asks me to
hit ctrl+alt+del, and it just wont work.

I am new to the subject, so excuse me if my question has already been
answered.
Is it possible to upgrade a GERMAN (GE) Version of VPC 5 to the ENGLISH

Hey folks,
I've now lost the ability to drag-and-drop files from my Mac desktop to
the Virtual PC (VPC 7, OS 10.4.2).  I was able to the first couple
times I ran it, but no longer.  The clipboards aren't shared either.

Once again the combination of XP / VPC7.02 / Tiger 10.4.2 has resulted
in an OS X crash for me. After getting XP to connect to the internet
(see notes about MTU below) I was trying to install Newsstand Reader to

VPC 7 is running Windows XP Home just fine on my iMac, but I can't get
the one program I needed it to run to load (Cannot open a DLL). When I
talked to tech support, they indicated BDE which is imbedded in their
program was probably the problem. Does anyone know a work around?

Is it possible to assign a specific mac address to my virtual machine
that is running Linux?  I have Virtual PC for Mac version 7.02

I have been running VPC 6.x with a windows 2000 client for some time now.
While the performance isn't great, its good enough and I have been happy
with it. When I upgraded my PowerBook to Tiger I lost the network switch
capability, but I almost never used it, so I didn't really care ...

Anyone hear about this? Just saw the press release and was wondering how it
compares with VPC 7. I find VPC 7 (iMac G5 1.8GHz, 2 GB RAM, OSX 10.3.7) to
be a real dog--it functions with MS Project, but not really well.

I'm trying to install Windows XP Pro on my new version of VPC 7 that
came without an OS. I didn't buy an OS because I can get one free from
the MSDN Academic Alliance. Because of this, I'm trying to install from
an ISO image or a CD burned from an ISO image.
