Connecting to localhost seems unresolved - or...?22 Aug 2005 18:32 GMT1
I'm new here, sorry for the inconvenience this may cause. I have
searched around and have found quite many people with the same problem
as I have: how to get VPC to connect to the build-in Apache server at
localhost. But no definitive answers, as far as I can gain.

No Installation CD20 Aug 2005 18:20 GMT1
I downloaded VPC 7.0.1 from a school Web site (MSDNAA.com) but I can't
complete the installation.  It keeps on asking for the VPC Installation
Disk but since I downloaded it on the Web, I don't have one.  I'm
running OS X 10.4.2 on a PowerBook G4.  Any ideas?

Can't complete Win XP installation18 Aug 2005 23:52 GMT7
Windows XP Pro installation gets past the product key entry and usually
past installing network components. When it's in the phase of copying
files, with about 26 to 29 minutes left in installation, it just
freezes.  The bright spinning beach ball appears and stays

I'm running Windows XP (fully updated SP2) on a 1.42 GHz iBook G4 w/ 1

Mac host to Windows guest networking when disconnected from network.17 Aug 2005 20:23 GMT4
I'm trying to use my VPC setup when Im on the train or bus.  What I
need is to be able to access my VPC via network when not connected.  I

Fedora 4... Anyone?17 Aug 2005 18:46 GMT2
Have fought to install Fedora 4 on VPC 7 and 2004.  Managed to get it to
work, finally, on 2004 but for the mac it will abort on startup and simply
ask to restart and on and on forever.  Is there a trick someone has used to
get it to function that doesn't require "deep magic"?
