I'm new here, sorry for the inconvenience this may cause. I have searched around and have found quite many people with the same problem as I have: how to get VPC to connect to the build-in Apache server at localhost. But no definitive answers, as far as I can gain.

I downloaded VPC 7.0.1 from a school Web site (MSDNAA.com) but I can't complete the installation. It keeps on asking for the VPC Installation Disk but since I downloaded it on the Web, I don't have one. I'm running OS X 10.4.2 on a PowerBook G4. Any ideas?

Perhaps someone could help. I have been running Frontpage on a dell and posting to a web throught extension (HTTP). It works fine. Now I use a Mac with VPC and frontpage 2003 and it will not connect to the HTTP. Any ideas?

I assume it's not possible to back up data on drive C to a CD. I enabled my zip drive but it doesn't show under my computer. Can I access the zip drive and drag data to the zip on the PC side?

I'm running Windows XP (fully updated SP2) on a 1.42 GHz iBook G4 w/ 1 GB of DDR RAM. With all of VPC setting maxed out and with no applications running and networking turned off I still am only able to emulate a 298 mHz processor. What's the deal. I purchased this to run

I'm trying to use my VPC setup when Im on the train or bus. What I need is to be able to access my VPC via network when not connected. I know that there is a way to do this when the host is a Windows box by creating a loopback adaptor on the Windows box. But how do I do this

Have fought to install Fedora 4 on VPC 7 and 2004. Managed to get it to work, finally, on 2004 but for the mac it will abort on startup and simply ask to restart and on and on forever. Is there a trick someone has used to get it to function that doesn't require "deep magic"?
