I have Windows xp on my desktop and Virtual PC.
Yesterday I tried to create a pdf file from a word document in Virtual PC.

Has anyone ever setup virtual PC on OS 10.3 Server. Microsoft says they
do not support virtual PC on a Mac server, but that it might be done.
Has anyone ever done it. It so, how did it work?

I guess that means at least VirtualPC 8 will be near 100% speed, but
it's the end of an era as Apple moves to the Dark Side.  :o(

I am looking for a fix to a problem...
I need to use a web-based application that only runs on Windows. I'm

I've just spent 48 straight hours installing tiger, tiger update, vm7
and not much else! on my mac, and i've found that when i shut the mac
down, it 'hangs' and appears to be still alive (this happened three

I'm a Mac user who needs to run windows for just one piece of software
that's not available on Mac.  I finally, after years of resisting,
bought Virtual PC.  I bought the standalone version because I already
have a Windows 2000 install disk through my work.

When I loaded Virtual PC for the Mac Version 7.0 into my Imac with Tiger OS
X 10.4 I keep getting this error code A1004 about the inability to load the
Virtual Switching network.  The exact error is :
"Virtual Switch networking could not be started

I recently contacted Microsoft with one of my "free" incident enquiries
about VPC's failure to recognise  my mobile phone. I was ultimately
contacted by Technical support at transformltd.com who provide the

My company uses Nortel's Contivity VPN client.  I tried installing it
inside a Windows XP VM in VPC7 on Tiger.  I'm told that it works fine
under virtual switch mode, but since that doesn't work yet on Tiger,

I'm trying to connect my PB G4 with OS X 10.4.1 and VPC 7.0 to a
client's LAN and the secured network only recognize the PB MAC address

Does this therefore mean that the 512 MB need for VPC 7 is beyond the
reach of my iMac?
