I have a Blackberry 7100r and I need to connect it through a Windows box because I am trying to sync it with Lotus notes. When I connect it to my powerbook, it is recognized by VPC and I set the usb preference to share, but Windows does not seem to recognize it.

I am thinking of buying a PowerMac G5 and using Virtual PC 7 to run the MapSource software (V6.5) for my Garmin GPS StreetPilot 3. The GPS unit currently connects to my PC via the serial port but I was thinking of buying a USB cable instead. Does anybody now if the MapSource

New user. I have VPC 7.0 and MS XP Home. Suddenly lost toolbars and icons on XP window. Window XP background image still there. Can't find application files on HD, either. Did I accidently change some setting, or did I crash? Solution?

I have a program that's would dial out using a modem in XP, but it can't seem to talk to my Apple Modem. I've configured the COM1 port in XP to be a 56000bps modem under the Phone and Modem Control panel. Trouble shooting says that the Apple Modem isn't supported.

I'm trying to get an application to recognise a handheld GPS; the handheld thinks its connected, the MAC thinks it is (Windows Hardware Properties) - the app just doesn't see it - any ideas? Thanks

I am considering buying Virtual PC for Mac for the purposes of testing websites in a Windows environment. I am not sure how finely the program emulates PC behavior: is it functional only or will results correspond to a PC right down to the pixel level within a window.
