As I work as a Test Manager for a Hardware/Software company, I am using
every Windows system plus Linux and Novell.
in my home directory under Documents I have the 3 most used VPC images
and the rest are on my firewire drive. (7 images).

running latest VPC on a 2.7 powermac G5.
In Tiger, numeric keypad is numeric entry.  In VPC, it's cursor movement.
Apple keyboard has no 'NUMLOCK' key.
How do I make the keypad numeric entry in VPC?

I moved my Virtual Machine file from an external firewire HD to my internal
HD. Now my Virtual Machine no longer appears in the Virtual PC 7 List, and
the VPC program keeps inviting me to create a new Machine.

I'm trying to run an old DOS application on my new Macintosh.
Computer hardware: Powermac G5 with Mac OS X 10.3.9
Printer: HP Business Inkjet 3000 connect to USB port on the Powermac
Software: Virtual PC for Mac 7.0.1

The hard drive on my Virtual PC was set initially at 2GB. Its meant to
increase as needed.
However a lot of software (>650MB) will not install as there is not enough
free space at time of install.

I¹ve used earlier versions of VPC and it slowed my mac down terribly.
Question: Does VPC slow down Tiger, and if it¹s not running (not launched)
will it be using any memory or resources, therefore slowing down the os if
I¹m not using any apps in VPC?

The archive and install option left VPC in my dock, however, when I
clicked on in, the VPC installer launched claiming my program was not
installed or missing.
