VPC 7 Startup problem17 Apr 2005 05:54 GMT2
I bought a standalone VPC 7.0.1.  I am using a hard disk image from an
OS Pack for Windows XP Home.  Worked well for a while, then after
reinstalling some software, I am unable to startup the PC.  It hangs an
the "rolling colored ball" appears.  I have to force quit the VPC app.

Is it possible to cut and paste text, hyperlinks, etc. between windows
applications running on VPC, and OS X applications running in the main
window?  I tried, and it does not seem to work.

How to get Virtual Machines for Win 9816 Apr 2005 04:16 GMT2

multiple copies of same virtual machine for testing16 Apr 2005 02:16 GMT4
I've got some client software to test.  It took an awfully long time to
install XP and get it all patched.  I'd like to save time by creating
multiple virtual machines of XP by simply making copies of it, with
necessary changes such as Ethernet MAC and whatever.  Can this be done?
VP7 Printer Tray Select15 Apr 2005 23:23 GMT2
Has anyone figured out how to get the VM Additions Printer in VP7 to
actually print to an optional tray.  I have a wireless network printer
which prints just fine with all the Macs but VP7 will only print on the
standard (small) tray no matter what I do inside WinXP Pro.  WinXP Pro

Hi - can someone help a Virtual PC novice please?
I've just installed Virtual PC v.7 on my G5 iMac (1.25GB) followed by a
PC programme called 'Hornby Virtual Railway 2' (this is basically a
programme for designing and running a Hornby model railway layout). The
"Update additions" fails14 Apr 2005 21:52 GMT3
I'm having trouble printing from virtual pc to my Mac printer. I've
printed via networking before, but I'm wanting to use the simple option
to print straight through my default Mac printer, but it's not working.
So I've been running a few updates to make sure virtual PC and windows

After this I update the Win98SE to WinXP Professional. All works fine, but I
could not print and share folders.

Using Quicken 2005 and Virtual PC13 Apr 2005 15:02 GMT7
I’m a new Mac user (Mac Mini), but found Quicken for the Mac
unacceptable.
My question is, will Quicken 2005 for PC using Virtual PC on my Mac
Mini provide acceptable speed, or is Quicken considered one of those
upgrade from vpc6.1.1 to vpc7.0.112 Apr 2005 04:08 GMT3

In order to keep linux time synchronised to Mac time, I run vpctimed in
background.  This works perfectly under vpc6.1.1.  Under
vpc 7.0.1  I get the message:
webcam12 Apr 2005 03:06 GMT6
Although I surmise from other posts that webcams don't work in VPC 7 (the
first version I tried), I was wondering why.  VPC "sees" the device on the
USB port.  Also, other USB devices, like printers...and the keyboard for
that matter...DO work.  Thank you in advance for any ...
