As part of Office:mac 2004 Professional Edition, I made an initial
installion of Virtual PC v7 and then installed Windows XP on my Mac G4
running OSX version 10.3.8.
Installation appeared to be successful for the English language.  Then
with Virtual PC 7 - more computer viruses and security issues???14 Mar 2005 17:17 GMT1
Am I going to be exposed to more computer viruses and security issues
by installing Virtual PC 7 on the primary drive of my Mac?
What have you experienced?

G5.  The program seems to work well; however I am not sure about the
right way to go about starting the programs - at the moment I am

with 90 GB free on my drive. In the "select Destination" screen I
notice that it says "Installing this software requires 0 bytes of

I just got the VPC 7 upgrade.  I have VPC 5 with Windows XP Home.
Awhile back (I think when I upgraded to Panther) VPC 5 stopped working.
I tried to reinstall it and even deleted my Windows Xp image.  Problem
is I could never get VPC 5 to reinstall. So now I want to upgrade to 7

I was wondering if it is possible to run the 64bit version of linux on
my mac g5 run virtual pc.  If so, which version, ia64, i386 64?  Please
let me know what you think.  Otherwise, I will stay with the i386
version.
