| TuneUp Utilities 2004 | 19 Mar 2005 14:10 GMT | 7 |
I believe I read someone post recently that they use "TuneUp Utilities" with VPC. If so, can you give more details. Such as, have you used all the features in this program? Which VPC version (including which Windows OS) do you use it with? Etc.

| What do you need to upgrade? I may be hosed | 19 Mar 2005 00:53 GMT | 1 |
I bought a G5, skipped VPC6, moved 6 months ago & now want to upgrade to VPC7, but I seem to have lost the box & documentation. Still have the discs for what little that may be worth. Microsoft, of course, seems to have no way to retrieve license info on-line or by phone

| G5 display settings make vpc faster | 18 Mar 2005 23:58 GMT | 1 |
I may be imagining this, but I set my monitor color settings to "millions" from "thousands" and VPC XP Pro seems much snappier! Could it be that vpc was wasting time with resetting the color lower? Incidentally the resolution was (and is) set to 1280 x 1024.

| General Protection Fault in Virtual PC 7.0.1 | 18 Mar 2005 21:45 GMT | 4 |
I cannot seem to cancel or quit an application running on Virtual PC for Mac release 7.0.1 - It is using 100% CPU making response time to CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-DELETE painfully slow. Trying to use CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-DELETE (for CTRL-ALT-DELETE) also does not work. Anyone

| Virtual PC7 alleged free support | 18 Mar 2005 20:38 GMT | 13 |
Has anyone else faced the problem I have that when I try to get access to my theoretical free Microsft support on this product, the Microsoft wesbite insists that my product ID is not valid for the UK. So in effect Microsoft are denying me access even to the two free calls which

I have been unable to access my Mac DVD/CD via Windows XP Pro/VPC7 on my Mac G5 running OSX 10.3.8. Admittedly, I don't use the function often, but it was operational a while back. I can insert a blank disk in the Mac and it shows up in the Finder - normal
