Virtual PC 6.1.1 with Windows 98SE and Norton Internet Security 200328 Mar 2005 15:11 GMT2
I am running Virtual PC 6.1.1 on a Mac Powerbook G4 with Windows 98SE.
After installing Norton Internet Security 2003, always get a "Fatal
Exception Operating Error" relating to the SymTDI.Vxd File when rebooting
W98SE, and NIS will not work.

I have a mac mini, virtual PC 7, and windows xp home edition installed
on it. I installed a game on it called "maple story", and whenever I
try to open the game in windows, it gives me the error: "0xc0000005".

I just upgraded my VPC to 7.0.1 and both myself and my MIS contacts are
getting frustrated with the connection speed as well as the fact we
can't seem to find any ajustments to increase the speed. Can anyone

Ok, First off thanks for the quick response to my last question.
Now on to bigger things, Do I need to install virus protection on the
windows side even if I have it on the mac side where the internet
connection is made? If so could you reccomend some. My MIS dept. uses

I am thinking about buying a G5 Imac and Virtual PC 7. My current computer
is a Pentium 111 (450mhz) with 512 meg Ram ,running Windows XP Pro. The Guy
in the Mac shop said Virtual PC only runs very slowly like the speed of a

I'm new to Virtual PC 7.0.1.
I'm running Windows 2000 Professional, SP4, with all patches, inder Mac
OS 10.3.8 on a 1.25 GHz PowerBook G4 with 1.5 GB RAM.

I want o know if I can just copy the vhd file to a host running
Mac OS and run up the guest os as I would on windows.

of setups easily. I've got an iBook, and wanted to use some of these
images at home. I've attempted to import them, but when I try and open
the .vhd file via the File menu, they're greyed out, and when I try to
