Virtual PC 6-7 for G527 Jan 2005 07:34 GMT5
More than a year ago I bought Virtual PC 6.1  XP Professional for Mac,
because I thought it will work on my G5, and of course it doesn't. I
didn't return it because the box was spoiled. I just told myself to
wait for the next version.

I just noticed that whenever I have VPC open, the Apple firewall does

Virtual PC 7 on G4 Powerbook - Too dang slow. :(26 Jan 2005 05:21 GMT8

onto my G4 Powerbook (15 inch).  The PB has 512mb of ram, so I'm pretty
sure I met the requirements.
CD-writing access in Virtual PC26 Jan 2005 04:03 GMT1
Do I need to load a cd-writing software in Win XP under Virtual PC to write
disks? In WinXP normally I don't need to. If I do does anyone have a
suggestion as to what to use, if not, anyone know why I can't write a CD in
windows?
Upgrading VPC from v. 2.126 Jan 2005 03:53 GMT1

Upgrading an older PC with my Virtual PC 7 Disk24 Jan 2005 22:06 GMT1
I recently purchased a copy of VPC 7 that came with a copy of Windows
XP Home Edition. I also happen to own an older Dell with Windows 98 SE
and I was wondering if anyone here knows if I can upgrade my Dell with
the Win XP disk that came with VPC 7. Is this possible?
Firewall and Virus23 Jan 2005 23:47 GMT5
Ok, I have been reading about optimising VPC 7 and I have a general
question.  Since I am using the shared network to connect to the
internet, do I need to have a PC Virus and Firewall running?  I use the
standard firewall, Internet Cleanup and VirusBarrier on my OS X side.

Are there any free anti-virus programs that work well with VPC 7?

unselect-ing a VPC window23 Jan 2005 02:50 GMT1
My fingers still do Mac-oriented keyboard things.  Occasionally, I'll
type "command-A" and get a marquee around a VPC window.  How do I
unselect the contents of the window?  There's no menu item nor VPC key
combo I can find to do this?
