I would like to know if it is possible to use a standard USB PC
keyboard and mouse with VPC 7. If yes is any configuration needed or
you just plug it and it works?

I have VPC7 and am installing Windows XP from a CD that I received from
Dell from my PC, it works fine, it installs, no problems, it gets to 13
mins left of the completing installation and just hangs there. It don't
freeze, it dont act out of the normal, it just freezes there, ...

I have vpc 7.0.1 and xp pro with sp2 installed on a Mac G5 1.8 dual
processor.
I am trying to install Office 97 Pro full edition on this setup.
I get an error message that this upgrade version can't find a previous

I've installed SuSE Enterprise Linux 9 under VPC 7.  It basically works
pretty well except the system clock time compared to hwclock or wall
clock is about 4 times slower.
E.g.  with the following:

With VPC for MAC can I have my iMac using my Airport WIFI connection
for its connection, and then my VPC session using the ethernet
connection?  It would seem this is possible, but I want to ensure that
I don't get the subnet from my Windows network on my iMAC.

I have a g5 and i am running virtual pc 7 and i am trying to get my
palm tungsten t3 to hotsync.
Windows will actually see the device but no luck after that?

I want to create a new PC with Windows XP. I put in the green Virtual
PC disk, and open Virtual PC. After detecting the CD, Virtual PC opens
the "PC Setup Assistant". So I click the first option to install XP
from the VPC disk, go through all the prompts, and click the install

I'm running Windows XP Pro as supplied by VPC 7 Upgrade for OS X.
This version of XP appears to come with Service Pack 2 preinstalled. Problem
is, I have a couple of apps that don't work with SP2.
Control Panel/Add/Remove Programs does not offer the option of uninstalling

I have installed VPC 7.0.1 and installed Windows XP on it. After it finished
installing Windows, I saved the PC state and closed VPC. Then I tried
restarting it but VPC crashes on me every time.
I even reinstalled Windows from scratch with same results.

After installing Virtual PC 7 on OS10.3 last night, I cannot get into
Windows this morning. I'm stonewalled at the login page, where it will
not accept my password as Administrator.
Is there any way to reset the password?

I recently purchased DesignCAD version 15, installed it on my G5 running
Windows XP and Virtual PC 7.0.1 and when I attempt to run it I receive the
message: ³DesignCAD has encountered a problem and needs to close.² I
contacted tech support at DesignCAD and was told they know nothing ...

This may have been asked before, but I am new to this news group.  I am
considering Virtual PC so I can play some of the single-person
puzzle/adventure games available on the PC platform but not on the Mac
(Myst-type games, not action shoot-em-up type games).

I've just bought virtual pc with Windows XP, but I'd like to be able
to download earlier versions of Internet Explorer, like 5.5, 5 and 4
in order to test websites. I understand that I need an ealier windows
operating system like me and 95 to work with these earlier browsers -

I am trying to install a Novell 5.1 Server under virtual PC 6.1.1. The
install goes well until Novell asks about the network card, I have
tried different configurations  but with no joy. Does anybody have
experience in this installation? Any help would be appreciated
