i got 6.1 to run on my iMac, but before i installed it i upgraded to a G5. obviously, i never installed windows XP pro that came with it because 6.1 did not run on the G5. i got the 7.0 upgrade without windows because i figured i did not need it.

Hi, I have a Powermac G5, VPC 6 with XP Home, and just received and loaded up the VPC 7 upgrade. I had unsatisfactorily tried VPC 6 on an old eMac that I've long since sold, and not touched VPC 6 since getting the G5. Now I have VPC 7 installed, but I don't have the old XP Home

Having difficulty getting IE to connect to the net. Using VPC7 on G5 with 10.3.6. Have DSL connection. The Home XP network connections is set to LAN and when I check status it says I'm connected. Yet when I fire up IE or try to set up .NET, neither are able to get onto the net.

Has anyone had any problems with no longer being able to run 1024x768 and at least 16-bit color under VPC 7? I had no problem with this under VPC 6, and now this thing keeps changing it back to 16 colors (not 16-bit) and 640x480 pixels. I even bumped the PC memory up to

New Printer (Epson Stylus CX6500) is not working in VPC 6.1. The printer works fine in Mac OSX. Computer is eMac 1.25GHz G4 with 1GB RAM and OS 10.3.3. VPC settings are USB port enabled and USB 2.0 MFP (HiSpeed) is visible and checked.

I have recently purchased a copy of VPC 7 for Mac OSX. When I use shared networking, Internet Explorer will no longer connect. Instead it shows a "Page cannot be displayed dialogue" I know that the network connection is good as OS X connects correctly.

I was using VPC 6+ w/XPPro on a Mac G3 earlier this year. Then, upgraded computer to G5 dual. Couldn't load the VPC (incompatible with G5 architecture). Now, the VPC 7 is compatible with the G5.
