I was wondering if anyone else had tried to update a TomTom GO
navigation system using VPC on a Mac?
The TomTom recognises the Mac being connected, and the Mac shows the
TomTom unit (& name) in the USB Settings dialog. Checking the box

Those of you who are using virtual PC 7 will find that windows guest
OS image is much larger than the amount of used space indicated inside

sound is choppy. This is true even with the start up sound. Does anyone have
suggestions as to how to improve this.

I just imported my Win2K into my new VPC 7 from VPC 6.  I cannot get
the focus changed so I can type into Win2K.  The arrow is always black
meaning it is in Mac focus.  It never changes to white to say it is in
Win2K focus.  I have removed Virtual Machine Additions from VPC 6

I know many of you that connect using ADSL using PPPoE have
encountered the same problem as me. Internet Explorer in VPC simply
does not connect to any web sites. Even if you are using shared
networking, have made sure that DHCP is on, and have put the DNS

This is from MacSlash.org and *IF* it actually works as advertised it
could be "VirtualMac" for the Windows world (and it's a lot cheaper

I'm trying to install Norton Antivirus 2005 from a CD. Every time I
run the install program, nothing happens. I have tried switching the
IDE configurations, installing it from an image and not a CD, and
trying to use the "Run" command in the start menu to manually launch

I want to completely remove my installed VPC 6 2000 Pro BEFORE
installing VPC 7 XP Pro.  I just don't want any remnants of my current
VPC left on my HD.  Does anyone know how to do this?
