I recently installed Virtual PC 7, and all went well. The guest OS
seems to operate correctly, and I have internet connectivity. However,
when I attempt to run Windows Update, I can never get it to run
successfully. The error code produced indicates network configuration

Dear Folks,
I just installed VPC7 on my dual processor G5 running OS 10.3.5 and it
repeatedly causes the Mac to go to sleep!
Running Windows XP Pro...

I recently purchased a copy of VPC 7 ($250.00) for my eMac (G4, 700
MHz, 640 MB) and I am astounded at how poor the performance is. I
mainly purchased VPC 7 because there are certain videos on the net
that can't be viewed using a mac, so I needed a windows based platform

My converted drive sort of starts up with the normal press control alt
delete but however many times I select this from the menu nothing happens.
Finally it goes into screen saver.
Looking at Activity Monitor VPC does not really seem to be doing anything

I don't know if anyone else has seen this?
I converted my W2000 image from VP6 and all SEEMED to go well.
Installed/updated additions and again all seemed well.
Tried to start up VPN and got an error message NT Policy server error 128

I want to buy an iMac G5 with 1.8Ghz Processor and 1Gb RAM but I work
lots of times with AutoCad and really wanted to know if it works
reasonably with virtualpc 7. I really needed to buy a macintosh but
AutoCad is my problem!

During the install of VPC 7 two disks were called for:
Installation CD
Installation CD 2
A third CD, titled "Additional Windows System Files" was not used.

I am having a problem with the Virtual Machine Additions. The Start
Menu shows up in the dock but the programs dont show up. Has anyone
else has this problem or know how to fix it? Thanks Alot!

Will VPC 7 + XP Pro support a firewire cardbus FW400/800 card on 17" PB G4?
? Alternatively, will it recognize the PB's built-in FW bus. Need to attempt
to run a PC video capture application so would need both the ability to
capture from DV camera via firewire and write to FW ...
