If I install Virtual PC 7 on my mac, will I be able to install

using Additions from VPC4 in VPC518 Sep 2004 01:02 GMT3
When I try to install Additions from my VPC5 upgrade disk in WinXP, XP
cannot read the disk. It can, however, read the VPC4 disk. Alas,
Additions for XP isn't on the VPC4 disk. Can I just use the 9x one?
Failing that, is there an Additions for XP .exe out there anywhere

I'm running Virtual PC 6.1 on a Mac iBook G4 laptop. I'm a relative
newbie to macs having just made the jump from windows. I needed to
install Virtual PC because the manufacturing software we use
internally ONLY supports a windows OS. The install went cleanly, but
Maximum RAM supported in VPC 717 Sep 2004 16:03 GMT2
VPC 6.x allows me to create a virtual PC with a maximum of 512MB of
RAM. Does anyone know if this limit has been lifted (or eliminated) in
7? I'm trying to run Red Hat Linux with Oracle 10g and I need WAY more
than 512MB of RAM. :) :)

I have Version 6 (Connectix) of VPC, but was never able to install it after I
upgraded from a G4 to a G5.  Since Version 6 doesn't work on G5's, does
anybody know whether there's a way to get the Version 7 Upgrade to install on
my G5, or will I have to buy the full version?

Installing Mac VPC 6.1.1 for all Mac users to share the same VPCs15 Sep 2004 02:44 GMT8
The Windows versions since VPC4 for Windows have allowed a command line
switch of -allusers to enable everyone who logs into a PC to share VPCs and
their drive images.  If I login as local Administrator or a Domain Admin or
myself, I still have the same VPCs to use.  We use VPC4Win ...

VPC 6.1.1 and ICS USB-GPIB controller13 Sep 2004 14:46 GMT1
I own an ICS USB-GPIB controller to use lab instruments equipped with GPIB

trying to use it with VPC. Everything starts out fine, I have the proper
drivers installed, and each time I try to make the device ...

DirectX 9 support for VPC7?12 Sep 2004 21:40 GMT1
I know that VPC 7 is supposed to support Mac graphics hardware, unlike
its predecessors.  Can anyone tell me whether or not this means VPC 7
will allow Mac users DirectX 9 support?  I have some older games
(circa 1997-2001) I wouldn't mind playing again, on my G5; maybe some
VPC 7 speed on single processor G4's12 Sep 2004 21:08 GMT1
With all the talk of VPC 7's speed increases and ability to run on G5's,
what is the REAL improvement on < or = 1 GHz single processor G4's
(Powerbooks)? G3's? VPC 6 just does not get the job done in terms of startup
(even saved) and app launch times. Screen redraws are painfully ...
