I have searched and not seen anyone having success using any available
version of Virtual PC to run Equistriad, a computer horse show game,
and a Garmin unit on a Mac (OSX, 10.2.8 in my case)? Has anyone had
success?

VPC 6.1/XP Home ran fine for several months, then started crashing
regularly, with no change in my configuration or software.  I want to
re-install VPC but don't want to lose the data I have entered over the
past few months. I'm obviously new to VPC.  How do I go about

Does anyone know somesort of trick to get to use more than 1 nic for a

In the Windows version of VPC it's possible to use more nics for a virtual
machine however the Mac version (I'm using 6.1.1) is left with just one nic.

I hope to have a wireless network and two Macs running soon.  I will
also have an older PC.  Would it be possible for me to install an OEM
version of Windows onto one of the Macs with VPC installed?  Or does it
have to be a retail version?

I just upgraded from 5.04 to 6.1.1. My Settings dialog tells me that Folder
Sharing was not installed. What happened? Did I miss an option during the

I am running VPC 6.1 and had a problem today.  Windows XP reformatted
itself while starting up.
It locked the entire machine up so I rebooted the Mac.  now when I try
