I am running Norton Anti-virus software on my PowerBook.  My questions
is, however, should I be running anti-virus software in the WindowsXP
environment of VirtualPC.

i have a powerbook g4 and i use virtual pc6 to run my cad software. i
never had any printing problems in the past via an airport, but just

Well, I finally talked myself into it and ordered my 15" PB today. My
goal is to make it my primary work machine. My company uses a
CheckPoint VPN for remote connectivity, and so I require the
CheckPoint SecureClient to tunnel into the corporate network and

I can use the collective wisdom in this group in regard to adding PC and
Windows capability. I use a G4 running system 10.2.8.
To me, advantages of using Virtual PC are:
Lower intial cost

I have a powerbook G3 and the VPC 4. I would like to upgrade to the
latest VPC version (7?) but perhaps this would have to be done in
steps, from 4 to 5, then from 5 to 6 and so on. Is this necessary or

Ok, well I finally succeeded in getting the Palm Desktop to install in  
WinXP (running under VPC 6.1 in Mac OS 10.3.4/Panther).
But I can't get HotSync to work.
I connected the USB port in WinXP/VPC to "USB Device from Apple Computer"

Using OSX 10.3.4 on new Powerbook.
Installed all Apple updates.
Installed Virtual PC 6.1, and update to 6.1.1.
Created 10gb drive and then installed XP on it. Then XP Service Pack

Is there any way to have the 'mac' key respond like the windows key is  
supposed to work in Windows?
i.e. in WinXP, if I press Win+D, it will reveal the desktop (something I  
do much more often than I realized until I can't do it any more).
